mushmaus promotes and facilitates the exploration and cultivation of installation, cross-media, new-media, or other transformative endeavors though collaborations, interactions, performances, meetings, exhibitions, lectures, publications, and more- and are asking for your help to continue/ expand their creative endeavors on Cherokee Street!  mushmaus has submitted their idea to Rally St. Louis and is hoping to be one of the five ideas chosen to receive funding.

The Rally Saint Louis project is a first-of-its-kind crowdsourcing and crowdfunding platform that generates ideas and uses funding from the region’s residents and then uses those ideas to help market a greater Saint Louis.    Top 5 ideas with the most votes will receive help in creating a sustainable budget and finding external funding.

“The beauty of the maturation of Cherokee Street over the past couple of months is that it has not shown a familiar trajectory for a St. Louis revitalization. There are no posh nightclubs with "pioneer" status nor any ultra-elite art galleries present.

Rather, there's an organized community dedicated to improving quality of life and maintaining the uniqueness of St. Louis's most diverse and urban business district.”
