at Old North Restoration Group

Please join us for Missouri Immigrant and Refugee Advocates’ 3rd Annual Art Show. MIRA welcomes you to “The Missouri Immigrant Experience: Faces and Places” as we exhibit two local photographers’ work, Juan Montaña and Amela Sinangic. Both new Americans themselves, their work focuses on today’s immigrant communities in St. Louis. Historical images from multiple archival collections, curated by Danny Gonzales of the Missouri Historical Society, will accompany the contemporary work and offer perspective, creating a dialogue through time about the immigrant experience and the changing face of Missouri.Dates: November 9, 2012-December 2, 2012
Where: Old North Restoration Group in the heart of the historic North St. Louis Neighborhood,
(2700 North 14th Street St. Louis, MO 63106)
Hours: M-F from 9am-5pm, though many events will also be held on the weekends
