NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO APPROVE CHEROKEE STREET COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
A public hearing will be held on January 19th, 2017 at 9 am in Room 208
at City Hall, 1200 Market Street, St. Louis, Missouri 63103 to consider Board Bill 229
to approve the establishment of the Cherokee Street Community Improvement District within the
City of St. Louis in accordance with the Community Improvement District Act, Sections 67.1401
to 67.1571 of the Missouri Revised Statutes (the “Act”).
The Register of the City of St. Louis has received a petition for the establishment of a
community improvement district in accordance with the Act by the owners of real property
within a proposed area to be known as the Cherokee Street Community Improvement District,
generally to be located in the following described area:
The properties in the City of St. Louis along the north and south lines of Cherokee
Street bound on the west by Gravois Avenue and on the east by Indiana Avenue.
The specific boundaries of the Community Improvement District are reflected in
the district map, as well as in the petition.
A copy of the petition is available for review at the St. Louis City Register’s Office,
Room 118 City Hall, 1200 Market Street, St. Louis, Missouri, 63103 during regular business
