REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)-

GRAPHIC DESIGNER FOR INDIHOP 2017

 IndiHop is a unique event showcasing two of St. Louis’ most eclectic neighborhoods: Cherokee Street and The Grove.

 

What is IndiHop? 50 Participating businesses in both neighborhoods provide samples of 50 different types of locally made brews.  As you travel from venue to venue, enjoy entertainment by an assortment of live musicians, artists and street performers. IndiHop provides shuttles, between each neighborhood. 2017 IndiHop will take place on Saturday, May 20th from 1pm to 7pm.

 

The 2017 IndiHop Committee is currently seeking proposals from qualified designers, artists and agencies to submit their qualifications. We invite qualified individuals, firms, consultants or creative collectives to submit a proposal.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR RFP SUBMISSION

 

This RFP establishes minimum requirements a bidder must meet in order to be eligible for consideration. It also contains a request for information to be included in the Agency’s/Individual bid response. The selection of the successful designer will be made based on evaluation and determination of the relative ability of each Agency/Individual. Please note that IndiHop will be responsible for printing all materials.

The company or individual name

Mailing address

Telephone number

At least three (3) links to examples of respondent’s work. If links are not available, printed ?material may be submitted to 3407 S Jefferson Ave, Suite 515 St. Louis, MO 63118

Total requested compensation including all fees and expenses.

 

SCOPE OF SERVICES

 

Once selected and confirmed, the chosen agency/individual will be asked to create the following images and designs, files suitable for inclusion in web and print. All design work will incorporate existing IndiHop logo, see above.

 

11×17 Poster

Posters will include a minimum of two (2) printed colors.

11×17 4-fold Brochure

Brochure to include detailed map of Cherokee Street & The Grove, sponsor logo/info., brewer info/logo and other pertinent information related to IndiHop. Design of brochure will be based off of the poster design – and content will be pulled from 2016 Map/brochure.

COST

To be negotiated. Please send us a projected cost for your services in your RFP response. The IndiHop Committee is not bound to go with the lowest bid, or any bid during this process and reserves the right to reject any and all bids or amend the scope of the project. Decision making pertaining to costing will attempt to balance the flat cost with the quality and creativity of the design.

 

AGREEMENT

 

Please note that the design/ownership/copyright and original source (Illustrator, Photoshop) files must remain with IndiHop. The copyright of all images and files created become the sole property of IndiHop for use as the committee sees fit. Revisions may be permitted after submission of a proposal, and prior to award.

TIMELINE

 

Submissions, including a cover letter, link to samples, submission and cost estimate must be submitted by 5pm, February 24th, 2017.

The selection process will occur during the third week of February 2017.

Interviews and negotiations with the winning bidder are expected to result in candidate selection by the end of February.  Completed designs for IndiHop 2017 are expected by March 13.
