What do you need to thrive in St. Louis? The Regional Arts Commission wants to know!  TOMORROW IS THE DEADLINE!  Please take the survey by TOMORROW July 31: http://www.artistscount.com/

The Regional Arts Commission (RAC) is taking a census of artists and creatives as part of Artists Count.  Through this study, they are asking all area artists and creatives to stand up and be counted by answering some questions about their workspace. living space, financial viability as artists and what they need to thrive in St. Louis.

The results of this anonymous survey will provide RAC with a wider understanding of the creative ecosystem in St. Louis.  By hearing directly from our diverse community of artists, RAC can help to promote your careers as well as the vitality and economic growth of the region.

“The beauty of the maturation of Cherokee Street over the past couple of months is that it has not shown a familiar trajectory for a St. Louis revitalization. There are no posh nightclubs with "pioneer" status nor any ultra-elite art galleries present.

Rather, there's an organized community dedicated to improving quality of life and maintaining the uniqueness of St. Louis's most diverse and urban business district.”
