Two Cherokee design businesses featured on Sauce Magazine’s Daily Sauce – Lifestyle last week.

The Writing on the Wall

If your walls could talk, what secrets would they spill? Luckily, the statement they make is in your hands. With the help of the fine craft painters at The Design Deli, you can splash your favorite musical icon’s mug all over your living room, add patterns to the bedroom, a mural to the den, or just change the color of the kitchen. Jobs typically take just a few days, so you’ll be back to doing whatever it is that you do behind closed doors in no time.

As one might gather from the last two posts on Cherokee Street News, there is a lot transpiring in our neighborhood. While it was sad to see the only Art Supply in the City to leave Cherokee Street, we also wanted to let everyone know that the space will not be empty.

A new store will be opening in the ArtParts building in the coming months. Keep your eye out for word about The Archive.

Two Fresh consists of twin brothers Sherwyn and Kendrick Nicholls and is accompanied live by drummer Colby Buckler. The twins have been making beats and playing music together since their freshman year of high school. In August of 2008, they began playing shows across the south. In early December they added on Colby on drums for the live setting. Together they bust out some of the freshest tracks, wowing people from all over the spectrum. Packing out venues, they keep the whole place moving with a raw, cutting edge sound that is a combination of hip-hop and jazz that takes electronic music to a whole new level. No matter what your into, Two Fresh will bring you music that is guaranteed to keep you moving. Their sound has begun to grasp the attention of people across the globe.
